This project was undertaken for a young family who wanted to redesign the pool, pool house and outdoor living areas of their beautiful bluestone villa in Leabrook. In conjunction with Proske Architects, a complete redesign of the pool and pool pavilion was undertaken in a fun and contemporary style. Marie-Clare chose hard wearing materials and furniture selections for these robust spaces that had to stand up to lots of young children enjoying themselves inside and out.
Also part of the project, attached to the heritage house, and overlooking the garden is the sophisticated new dining room with glass walled wine room and powder room. The client requested more luxurious materials and furnishings here to entertain friends and enjoy their wine collection. Carefully working with the clients Marie-Clare used Cole and Son wallpaper, elegant light fittings, brass detailing, herringbone floors and had furniture custom designed to create a true elegance.
